Mauren Brodbeck
This image shows a building that has been taken to Photoshop and been covered in orange the rest of the image is in black and white which makes the image more interesting. Vantage point has been used in this photo to show the scale of the building and how tall and long it is and to show that it is the main subject of the photo.
|
This image is made to look 3D because of Photoshop Mauren Brodbeck has made the subject look very out of place because of the bright colours and the 3D look to it but because of her editing skills she has made it look perfect and like it was built there and the image has not be photoshoped.

Mauren Brodbeck Experiment
David Keochkerian
David Keochkerian is 37 years old and takes photographs of rivers with lots of tress and nice long exposer and nature shots and then turns them infered photos and makes them look surreal because of the colour of the trees would be different colours than they would be and really bright colours and the rest of the photo is dark which makes the tree really stand out.
|
In this photo you can see that the trees have turned from green trees to pink trees and the rest of the photo like the sky and water have turned to dark colours but the pink trees stand out from the rest of the photo and really catches your eye because of the bright colours.
|
David Keochkerian has made this photo look very surreal like the rest of his photos and the pink tress and the wood on the tracks look like a slight tint of pink.
|
Zach Stern
In this photo the plants and trees are pink and look surreal and very colourful to the rest of the photo.
|
Zach Stern lives in the USA but goes around the world taking inferred photos and most of the photos the trees come out pink and the sky is blue by going into photoshop and makes them look surreal.
In this photo the trees are pink again and don't stand out as much as the sky in this photo because Zach Stern has gone to photoshop and changed the colour of the sky to blue otherwise the sky would be dark and maybe black
In this photo Zach Stern has made the colour of the grass stay the same and only changed the colour of the trees to pink and the building is stayed white to make the trees look like they are meant to be in there. |

5 Rules
Composition putting together or how its arranged.
Five Rules:
Five Rules:
- Filling the frame
- Framing the subject
- Vantage point
- Depth of field
- Rule of thirds
Filling in the frame
Filling in the frame is where you get your subject in the frame as much as possible so there is no wasted space in the photo and so your not distracted in the photo.
|
|
Framing the subject
Framing the subject is where you get a subject also known as the main object and you find an angle where the subject is in a man made frame and uses no Photoshop to move the frame.
|
|
The Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is a guideline witch applices to the process of composing images, the guideline should be imagined as divided into nice equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced veritial lines
|
|
Vantage Point
Vantage point is when you take a photo from a different stance like taking a photo from under it, below it and different angles it can be taken from.

AO3 - Reflective Recording:
"Record in visual and/or other forms ideas observations and insights relevant to intentions demonstrating an ability to reflect on work and progress"
1st Photo-shoot
Richmond Park
I went to Richmond Park because it has a lot of nice and big trees and nice pathways and Richmond Park has big landscapes that have a lot of trees with bright colour. I used a 50mm lens to take these pictures so I could get a wide picture. I tried to go on a bright day so i could capture the colours of the sky and the colours of the trees and grass so when i went into photoshop i could edit the colours in the picture but it was a rainy day and the sky wasn't bright and didmc have colour in it.
My edited photographs are influenced by the Photographer David Keochkerian because he had taken a picture of a railway with big trees with a lot of colour and i tried to do the same thing but i tried different styles that were walkways and not railways but had the same kinda of affect. I looked for long walkways with big trees and tried different colours.
Editing Process
These edited photographs are infulced by the photographer Zach Stern who had taken photgraphs of areas where there are a lot of trees and leafs so I went to Richmond park where there are a lot of trees.
2nd Photoshoot
Heston Park
I went to Heston Park to take a photoshoot because i knew that there was few trees and no water so I tried to take pictures that would have one strong tree and few in the background to make more colours when i went into photoshop I used a 50mm lens to get more trees and sky in the photo.
I tried to get a photo that looked like Zach Stern photo with a tree and a bench but what i did wrong is that i had a shadow in the way of the bench and made the photo look bad. But the rest of the photoshoot has a strong tree in the front and have a row of trees in the background.
3rd Photoshoot
Osterley Park
I went to Osterley Park to take photos that have a lake in the photo and looks like Zach Stern's photo that has pink grass and pink trees and Osterley Park had lots of good trees with lots of leaves on it so when i went to photoshop it would change colour. But in this photoshoot the day was dark and the sky was grey and when i went into photoshop the sky wouldn't change colour.
I tried to do another Zach Stern look where there is water and some trees but what i did with the colour was i tried a pink look that came out good but the sky was white and didn't change colour when i went into photoshop and it was because on the day i went to do the photoshoot it was grey and the sun wasn't out so the sky was grey and had no blue in it. Then i tried a different colour and did a orange colour which makes it look autumn which looked good as well but the same problem came again where the colour of the sky didn't change which made the photo look washed out.
4th Photoshoot
Osterley Park
I went to Osterley Park again because it was a brighter day and the sky was blue and when i went into photoshop the sky would change I used a 50 mm camera lens again and this photoshoot came out better than the last Osterley Park photoshoot because it was brighter and I went to different parts of the park and I got photos of more lakes and trees.
I went to Osterley Park again but this time the edited photos came out better than before and the sky would change and different parts of the park were better because the water would reflect the sky and in photoshop the sky and water would change colour and look better.
